Matt DiBenedetto Matt is our resident "local" boy, born and raised in San Geronimo. He attended Sir Francis Drake High School, home of the Pirates. From there he attended Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Matt's culinary journey started at an early age. His father's friend, Tony, owned and operated a local restaurant in Forest Knolls. He always invited Matt into the kitchen, thus peaking his interest in the restaurant game. Matt worked there as a buss boy on the weekends. Fresh local ingredients were the theme, and Matt's career has been molded from that. He has worked at several large restaurants in the Phoenix Metro area, just recently moving back to the Bay last November. Matt is an avid golfer and enjoys all outdoor activities. His favorite sports teams include the Niners, Giants, and the Cal Golden Bears. He currently resides in San Geronimo with his "boy" Lou (His 100lb dog). |
