Amanda Grimm Amanda Grimm started her Pacific Catch career in 2007 as a bartender, then supervisor at the Corte Madera location. She was promoted to Restaurant Manager in November 2007. Amanda Grimm grew up living with her parents and three brothers in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated in 1999 from Coronado High School, which borders the beautiful Garden of the Gods. She then attended CU Boulder, graduating in 2002 with her BS in Business Information Technology. Having accumulated nearly ten years of experience, Amanda first joined the restaurant industry during high school, as a server for Carrabbaís Italian Grill. She then worked as a bartender at Red Robin in Boulder for three years, while in college. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Denver, Colorado and maintained a serving position at Hapa Sushi for years, as a supplement to her day job. Her most recent two positions, previous to joining the Pacific Catch team, were working as a developer for the Denver-based consulting firm, Spiremedia, and most recently as a member of the Web Services Team for the Fortune 200 rated corporation, Arrow Electronics. Despite her IT background, Amanda consistently gravitates back towards the restaurant business. She doesn't see herself ever taking on another desk job again, having found greater health and happiness in a career that keeps her on her feet, talking to people and learning new things each and every day. Amanda moved out to the Bay Area from Denver, Colorado just over a year ago. In her free time she enjoys listening to hip-hop music, watching movies, camping, snow boarding, practicing yoga and fantasizing about upgrading the computers at Pacific Catch. She currently lives in the Sunset district with her two awesome roommates and her pets. |
