David Rittvo David was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, where good food and great restaurants were an integral part of his upbringing. He started working in the industry at a young age, spending his summers in the kitchens of various restaurants in the New Orleans, including two of Emeril Lagasse's flagship institutions: NOLA and Delmonico's. After finishing undergrad and obtaining an MBA from the Hotel and Restaurant Management School at the University of Denver, David traveled the world for a year, making stops to taste the local flavors in London, New Zealand, Australia and Southeast Asia. His whirlwind tour completed in San Francisco, where he decided to set up shop and dive into the Bay Area's renowned culinary scene. After an initial jaunt into the fine dining arena in SF, David jumped at the opportunity to participate in the exciting opening of a new Pacific Catch location. David is currently the bar/restaurant manager for the new, full service Pacific Catch at 9th Ave. Every weekend and most weekdays, you can find him behind the bar making extra strong margaritas and sublime mojitos. Ultimately, David has ambitions of starting his own restaurant empire, one that will complement the great food and casual atmosphere he's grown to love and rely on at Pacific Catch. |
